Living in Grace ~ A Spiritual Direction and Retreat Ministry

Whoever you are, and wherever you find yourself on the journey of faith, know that you are most welcome here, to receive the riches of God’s love given for you.
from St. John’s Staff

Where are you on the journey of faith? Are you in a time of discernment?  Does the well feel dry?  Do you hunger for a relationship with God?  Then perhaps spiritual direction is for you.  Spiritual directors, or spiritual companions, provide directees with a safe place to seek, discern, and acknowledge the Holy, present and at work in their lives.  It is what Dale calls “an hour of pure grace.”

I think my job is to make the grace of an invisible God, visible, wherever I am.

You belong to God, and it is as a child of God that you are sent into the world.

You need spiritual guidance; you need people who can keep you anchored in your true identity.  The temptation to disconnect from that deep place in you where God dwells and to let yourself be drowned in the praise or the blame of the world always remains...

The more you come to know yourself – spirit, mind, and body – as truly loved, the freer you will be to proclaim the good news. That is the freedom of the children of God.
