This free presentation will present an overview of cybersecurity and data safety concepts. It was created for people and small businesses who do not have a dedicated information security group, to make sure they are aware of these important strategies for staying safe on today’s internet. No specific computing experience is needed. All are welcome.

About the presenter
Dave Herrington is a retired IT professional with over 35 years of experience in educational computing at Princeton University. He recently completed his CompTIA Security+ certification and created this lecture on personal cybersecurity in order to raise public awareness of the dangers of today’s internet and current best practices for safe computing.
